Happy Holidays

Over 2 months with no post. That is a shame.

Oh well.....

I hope you all had a great Christmas with your families. I spent mine planning my wedding. Yeah I'm getting married on New Years Day. Planning a wedding in less than 2 weeks is crazy and that is exactly what I did. I flew to Florida to spend Christmas with my fiance. And during my holiday we decided that we didn't want to wait till next year to get married. And the 1st of January 2011 seemed like a good date so we went with that. So we got our marriage licence, arranged the venue for the reception, etc... We were very blessed that everything came together as easily as it did. I managed to find a wedding dress in one day. Tried a few on and found one that fit perfectly, needed no alterations or anything. Walked right out of the store with it. I had great friends helping me and I got everything I needed. It wasn't easy and there were times when we both got stressed out but we resolved those issues very quickly.

When you're planning things in a hurry, you tend to forget things, like scheduling a wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. But there is still time for that. We also forgot to choose a ring bearer, but luckily our friend agreed that her son would do it. The man above was definitely on our side and everything is coming together nicely. The weather is warming up and should be very warm on Saturday.

I am very excited and I couldn't ask for anything more. Of course not everyone feels the way I do. But you are always gonna have someone who has their own opinion on the things that you do. And not everyone is gonna support you, but I'm not gonna focus on the negative. I am too blessed to be stressed.
