Random Rubbish

Work has been keeping me busy lately. I guess I shouldn't complain, it stops me from falling asleep at my desk. Since I have nothing of substance to write about here's some random things going on in my part of the world.

• I just found out my boss' wife is coming to work with us next year. The company is branching out with new products and we will definitely need the extra staff. But his wife can be overbearing sometimes. I'm used to doing things my way and not having someone breathing down my neck. So we'll see how this works.
• My sister and my mum are still not talking to each other. No surprise there. They're both still bad mouthing each other to me though. I just ignore the lot of them.
• Meems has become a little chatterbox. The other night she had my sister's cow pencil case and I had to take it away from her. Do you know the next morning, this child was on the phone to my mum telling her that I took the cow away and made her cry. She's there on my phone telling on me. I guess it is a good thing, at least she'll let me know if anyone did anything to her.
• I can't believe Christmas is almost here. It's three weeks away. DAMN!! Have I mentioned I haven't done any shopping yet?
• Speaking of Christmas, my sister's fiance's ex-fiance's mother has invited us over for Christmas dinner. It could be wierd, I'm not sure what I'm going do yet. But I can't just say no, she's family. No really, his mum is my cousin. Barbados sure is a small azz island.
• It has gotten so cold over here. I don't do cold. I told ya'll I'm a Miami girl. I'm not really a hat person but I may have to get one, my ears are freezing! Or buy a new coat with a hood. The other weekend I woke up and it was snowing. I'm not built for cold weather.

Well that's it for now. Gotta go get the rugrat.
